Rhythm Ace is a highly recommended recording studio Oakura, Taranaki, New Zealand.

I attended a sound engineering course at the studio in November 2021, and managed to peel off a few shots. In these images we were working on drum recording techniques under the watchful eye of studio boss Sam Johnson.

The sessions were part sponsored by Most FM.

A most rewarding experience, and i would kill to be able to record an album with Sam at the studio.

New digs in NZ

In recent months i have moved to Oakura, near New Plymouth in New Zealand, and am now based here after 20 years in Australia.

I grew up in NP, and have moved back to help out my family. Part of this involves managing the family art collection and rebooting Kreisler Gallery.

I am of course available for photography assignments, and am putting the feelers out for work across NZ. Hit me up with any enquiries.
