Anne Hastie

Abstract painter Anne Hastie has exhibited regularly at the gallery since 2012. Last year she showed painting and photos, with the shows 'Going, Going, Gone...', and 'On The Street Of Ghosts'. (see images below)

Now in 2015 she returns with a further series of new works for her show 'Take Away', Sat May 2nd - May 31st. These works were also completed while on residence over the summer in Beijing. She will be joined by guest artist, and fellow Melbournian, Denise Keele-bedford, who also has a long history of doing residencies in Beijing. The exhibition opens Sat May 2nd, 3pm. EVENT.

Anne and Denise will present an Artists' Talk during the course of the show, 'Not Done Yet: Two Women Artists Reflect on their Engagement with China'. This is on Sat May 23rd, 2pm. EVENT.
