Kreisler Photography undertakes art documentation both at our studio and on location. We document work with the highest quality lighting and camera equipment, and ensure the best in colour fidelity.
We have extensive experience in this area. Nick worked as a Senior Photographer at The State Library of NSW, photographing many types of items, some priceless, such as First Fleet Journals.
In 2006, following his employment at the SLNSW, Nick set up Viewfinder Digitisation Solutions, with Charles Gordon. Viewfinder did projects for the SLNSW, P&O/Carnival, and catalogues for the auction house Deutscher-Menzies. One of the works shot by Viewfinder for DM, Sylvette by Picasso, set a record for the highest price fetched at auction in Australia. At the end of 2009, the partnership was dissolved, and Nick established Kreisler Photography with Anne-Marie De Boni. Kreisler Photography continues to photograph catalogues for Menzies Art Brands.
Nick regularly undertakes work documenting for artists directly, as well as dealer galleries.
Some of these clients have included:
• Boscia Galleries, Melbourne
• Art Gallery of NSW
• Darren Knight Gallery, Sydney

• Centre for Cultural Materials and Conservation, Uni of Melbourne
Anne-Marie worked for several years in the photography department at the National Gallery of Victoria, as an imaging/pre-press specialist. This involved liaising with printers and press checking, as well as the direct retouching of images for publications.

• Dali, Liquid Desire
