I shot Ben Sheppard’s sculptures at the end of last year at Utopian Slumps. The brief was to shoot the works to create hard shadows, as this is how Ben likes the works to be lit and presented. Accordingly, I mainly shot the works with barn doors, and moved the lights around until the shadows looked ‘right’.
