I shot Ben Sheppard’s sculptures at the end of last year at Utopian Slumps. The brief was to shoot the works to create hard shadows, as this is how Ben likes the works to be lit and presented. Accordingly, I mainly shot the works with barn doors, and moved the lights around until the shadows looked ‘right’.

Darcy Gladwin is seen here filming Simone and Sean of White Elephant, first and second in charge of Voyeur, respectively. Voyeur is a performance event at the White Elephant studios coming up on June 19, featuring 22 installations and 32 performers.
Darcy is doing a moving image project on Brunswick artists and studios, whereas I am covering the stills side. We are visiting spaces and such together, when the chance arises.
